Friday Russ and Lisa came over for dinner.

Menu
Fresh baked bread,oven baked jacket potatoes and one mean chilli.

Followed by chocolate pudding…. Um um.

A good night had by all must do it again soon.

Anyway the night ended late but was good.

Sarah Phone midday to tell me her dad had ended up in Hospital…Jean was in a real panic which is not normal.

We both Left work early so we could make sure he was ok and to give Jean some support as it cannot be nice to get that sort of phone call.

Well when we got to Peterborough hospital he looked as if he had been punched in the eye and looked somewhat bored.

It happens to be that he got up from his desk went to walk across the office only to pass out and come round with Paramedics over him…

Much to say he is alright and managed to get home later with the doctors thinking it was just a normal faint.

It was a long night after driving from Peterborough to Thetford and then back to Histon it was nearly 21.00 so we had a Chinese. UMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Wasn’t much left as I was really starving.

Busy today had to hire a van and travel down to ikea Milton Keynes to pick up 2 sofas for ISE show in Amsterdam. I am not atending this show as we have plenty of bodies going.

We have a load of sooloos systems arive today so tomorrow will be setting these up do they can be shown off to the UK dealers later in the week.

Picked up a 1TB hard drive for the demo system was around £110 which I thought was really cheap as my 1st hard drive 14yeard ago was £170 for a 40MB oh how times have changed.

Band Practice was great this week…

A few movers so we have a new 2nd horn player… and a few less cornets infact the band seemed more of a round sound this week.

We do need to start playing to dynamics but I am sure we can all learn not to BLAST out sections we like playing.

Anyway good practice missed the drums.

Well I managed to get to band practice tonight.

This was my 1st practice of the year, it was good to get back and play a few changes in players moving around but that has made the band not so top heavy.

We are not doing any competitions this year as we the committee feel we need a year to regroup and practice and get better.

Anyway I am sure that in the future we will start doing competitions then we can see how good we really are.

Back to work.,. Lots of email to catch up with.

Had to sort out loads of paper work too.

Anyway always good to be back in the office.

Left alone at hotel, glad really too tired been told they do good food here so I plan to eat at the hotel.

Phone calls to Des and Home to make Sure everything is ok.

Did lots of training this afternoon and will be doing some more tomorrow.

Lovely. That’s all I can say.

At last the gound was able to he dug so I could bury the rabbit, it had been so cold I had not been able to do it untill today.

I had left the rabbit left in a double bag in the cleaned out hutch so I could the sort him out and kept the hutch closed do nothing could get to him.

Anyway he was exactly as I had left him when I unwrapped him which meant it was easy to deal with.

He is no buried in the garden in the area that my new shed will cover.

Anyway he is now resting in peace.

Well we have been to The Boot this lunch time it as really nice as usual.

The menu had changed since the last time however we had the lamb shank on a mustard & mint mash….., was really nice as you can see the only thing left was the bone.
