Studio back up and running

8:32 pm in Studio by Edd Stonham

Over the last month the studio has been taken apart and rebuilt to increase the working area for myself(engineer) and 2 presenters for the show…..as space was really tight.

My monitors are now mounted on the wall instead or desk…freeing up valuable space…now with the new equipment the Cambridge time traveller group has managed to purchase we will be able to produce the next show hopefully at a higher quality.

Recording starts Friday night on the next show and I can’t wait to get started.

We told Sam about the baby

10:42 pm in Uncategorized by Edd Stonham

Sam had been worried about Sarah this week as she kept being sick and then had been wetting the bed so we both decided to tell him last night he is going to be a big brother.

He took it really well, now he is telling every one about it and that he is going to be a big brother.

So the waiting till the 10th has now been changed as he knows..

Well i buried the rabbit…

10:29 pm in Uncategorized by Edd Stonham

At last the gound was able to he dug so I could bury the rabbit, it had been so cold I had not been able to do it untill today.

I had left the rabbit left in a double bag in the cleaned out hutch so I could the sort him out and kept the hutch closed do nothing could get to him.

Anyway he was exactly as I had left him when I unwrapped him which meant it was easy to deal with.

He is no buried in the garden in the area that my new shed will cover.

Anyway he is now resting in peace.

My birthday

10:02 pm in Uncategorized by Edd Stonham

Well my birthday was ok… Had to be at work and went to a parish council meeting in the evening. However it was a good day and was better than could be expected.

I am sure birthdays are more a childs thing as I get more enjoyment out of Sam getting presents and celebrating. Sometimes I forget how old I am so when it’s my birthday I find it hard to remember how old I am.

Any way a good day could have been better in some ways.

Pizza Hut, lovely

1:28 pm in Uncategorized by Edd Stonham

Pizza hut was really busy but always meets the mark.

The visit to pizza hut was to celebrate my birthday which is on the 14th.

Steve and Caroline came along we didn’t tell Sam so when he saw them he was really happy.

Anyway as usual it was so nice I finished mine

and had pudding a chocolate fudge cake which was lovely.

Cycle ride for charity 2009

9:39 pm in Uncategorized by Edd Stonham

I am planning to do another charity bike ride.

The plan is to do the Oxford to Cambridge ride but as yet it is undecided this would be around 84 miles.

I plan to start training next we with several sessions at the gym and 2 lunch time sessions at the pool.

We managed to raise a good amount for the heart foundation last year and hope to do the same this year.

Here you can see Russ and myself at the beginning of our ride last year.

London to Southend Heart Foundation Bike Ride.
